John Ferguson developed his skills in the areas of law where he concentrates while an associate in several law firms. Subsequent to that he founded and continues to be the sole owner of Main Street Settlements, Inc., a prominent real estate settlement and title company in Olney, Maryland. A resident of Olney, Mr. Ferguson is a past President of the Olney Chamber of Commerce, a member of The Montgomery General Hospital Foundation Board, a Trustee of the Sandy Spring Museum, and a founding Director of Community Concerts of Olney, Inc., and is active in church and civic activities in the Olney area.

Prior to entering private practice, Clifford Wilpon completed a clerkship with Judge DeWitt Hyde of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. After that, he worked at several law firms as an associate until he started his own practice in 1985. Mr. Wilpon was a sole practitioner until he and Mr. Ferguson formed Ferguson & Wilpon in 2001. A long-time Olney resident, Mr. Wilpon has been involved for over 10 years with the Olney Boys and Girls Club as a coach, for several years as Vice President, and as a past member of the Board of Directors.
